Just recently got a Schlage keypad deadbolt lock and it was very easy to set up even by a newbie like me. I was thinking I would need someone’s help with that but it was pretty straightforward. I’m also not that good when it comes to programming so that was a bonus – you just need to put it in and everything is ready for use, no need for any technical knowledge. And as a bonus it has a turn lock feature which comes in very handy at times.

I wasn’t very excited about the idea of having an electric deadbolt. It was my girl who convinced me to give it a try after she bought one as a gift. She has one at her home for some time and said it’s pretty good so I said let’s give it a go. I liked that it’s easy to set up and you can have it done in a matter of 20 minutes or so. It looks like it works fine but I’ll have to give it more time to see if I like it.
